Thank you for taking the time to read my page.
I am a mother of a 17 month old baby boy and currently juggling full-time work, full-time mum and a part time masters degree. Coming from poverty, I am trying so very hard to break the cycle for my sons sake and the only way I can do this, is by becoming someone my son can be proud of by educating myself and doing what I love.
Working and caring for children is my life and this is why I chose to pursue a career in child psychotherapy.
It's becoming extremely hard to pay my way through university and I still have 3 years left to pay for!
After the 3 years, if our NHS remains intact, I may be able to apply for a funded trainee position. However if there aren't any opportunities, I'll have to pay for my clinical years for another 4 years.
As part of the course, it is mandatory to be in therapy ourselves because how will we help others if we have our own issues to deal with? This means an extra expense that I cannot afford at all and may have to resort to loans and credit cards to pay for.
I desperately need some help as I do not want to be riddled with debt before I have even begun a career.
Please help me with what you can and you will forever be in our prayers.
Thank you xxx
