My name is Beth. I'm 24 and I'm studying an MSc in Information Management and the University of the West of England (UWE) so that I can further my career in librarianship.
Libraries have been a passion of mine since a very young age. Whenever I go to a new city, the first place I visit is the local library. I've loved these buildings for so long, because they are a place for people to go when they need free education, or even to relax. Libraries are there to help people and to change their lives, which is why I have chosen to work in this field. I'm currently working part-time in a library in Bristol.
I began studying part-time for my MSc in September 2015, and am about to begin my second year of the course. I was able to save up for about a third of the masters, which I have paid UWE, and am now struggling to find money for the rest of the fees, as I only work part-time. If I had the money to pay for the rest of my course, it would save me not only a lot of interest when taking out a loan, but also a lot of financial stress. I would be incredibly grateful for any contributions!
