We are raising funds to help us pay for accomodation in Islington to continue the fabulous work we do in recycling TOYS and giving them to children who need them. We have totally outgrown the property we are in and desparately need a bigger place.

We want to be able to store toys, run workshops, have play sessions, puppet shows and parties for vulnerable children in and around Islington. We want a space we can call our own that is open to everyone to donate toys to those in need.

The donated unwanted toys are cleaned, sorted and chosen specifically for children in hospices, hospitals, bereavement centres, schools, nurseries and community organisations and individual families in need. Image may contain: 2 people, sunglasses and closeup

We provide new and used toys to children receiving bereavement play therapy through losing a loved one, to refugee centres, to families who are survivors of domestic violence, to child survivors of torture. to looked after children, to sick children and short life children and to many after school clubs, schools, nurseries and community groups.

Last year we were able to give new toys for Christmas to looked after children in Islington, Camden and Hackney, to all the dads in prison in Wormwood Scrubs and Pentonville hospital so that they could give their child a present at Christmas.

The money we raise often supports events in hospitals  - this may be an afternoon of face painting, a visit from a Disney Princess or a whole load of new games to play with.

We also provide all the ingredients for a fabulous annual Pirate Party that is put on for bereaved children and we buy tiny toys for play therapists to use in play therapy.

After the success of our pop up shop at 171 junction Road we are now looking for a new space/shop where again, you will be able to drop off your unwanted toys and buy recycled toys at a reasonable price. Most importantly we want o create a community space where you can drop toys, shop for toys and pick up toys through referals.

Please please donate what you can. We are so grateful for every penny that takes us one step closer to having our own  home.
