International Award-Winning Jazz Composer/Arranger Tom Haines leads the Birmingham Jazz Orchestra at Stratford Jazz in December 2016, with this Crowdfunder financing the recording and production of the concert into a 40-45 minute live album.

Showcasing some of the Midlands' finest established and emerging talent, the 17-piece Jazz Orchestra will feature Tom's original and innovative works, including 'Whistleblower' (Winner of the Duvel Jazz Award, Bose Audience Award, 2013), 'Mystery Dog' (Winner of the Eddie Harvey Jazz Arranger of the Year Award, 2014) and 'Yitzoid' (Winner of the Barga Jazz Festival Original Composition Award, 2015).

In return for your generous pledges, the rewards include a live album download, a live album CD, being named as a contributor on the CD inlay and receiving signed pdf scores of Tom's Jazz Orchestra compositions.

This project marks an significant 'next step' for Tom and his music, and with your help to secure the highest calibre of musicians, recording engineer and equipment hire, will result in a live album that is sure to make it's mark in UK Jazz, and the start of many more things to come from the Jazz Orchestra.
