Part of the Green Party Campaign

In May 2016 Liverpool Green Party will be mounting our biggest ever challenge in Liverpool's local elections. Tom Crone is standing as our candidate in the Mayoral elections, and we are aiming to secure our position as the official opposition in Liverpool by winning more seats in the council elections.

As the leader of the main opposition party Tom is in the strongest position to challenge Labour for control of the city. Our aim is to put Green issues right at the forefront of this election.

In order to achieve that we need your help. The Green Party takes an ethical approach to fundraising. Unlike other parties we don't accept donations from property developers or other companies with an interest in influencing policy. Instead we rely on the generosity of our members and supporters.

All donations will go towards supporting Liverpool Green Party's election campaigns for the local and Mayoral elections. This will include covering deposits for the Mayoral election and paying for us to be included in the Mayoral election booklet, which will be delivered to every household in the city. It will also allow us to deliver multiple leaflets across our key target wards, promoting both our council and Mayoral candidates.

You may have heard that the BBC has recently decided that the Green Party will receive no Party Political Broadcasts in the run up to this election. That makes it all the more important for us to connect directly with the people of Liverpool.

If you want to put Green issues right at the heart of these elections then please support us by donating now.

*IMPORTANT: All donors must be on the UK Electoral Register and anyone wishing to donate more than £50 must be willing to provide their Home Address details via the rewards section. Checks will be carried out to ensure that anyone donating more than £50 is a permissable donor. Such donations will appear on candidate election returns and will be publically published by the Electoral Commission.
