Due to loss of sponsorship this year, along with education cuts affecting sports budgets, there is a need to raise more money to help support Tiffin School Rugby. The money raised will go towards buying training and match balls, and match kit for all age groups.
The Head of Games' vision for rugby at Tiffin is to raise the standard of rugby even higher, to increase participation and improve performance across all age groups.
Rugby Football is played as the major sport at Tiffin in the Autumn and Spring terms. Tiffin regularly field twelve sides on Saturdays and give as many boys as possible the opportunity of playing the game at a competitive level. Tiffin has a comprehensive fixture list that includes many of the best school sides in the South East. The Senior Squad regularly embark on a foreign tour including Italy and Canada.
Boys of all standards are catered for, many of whom have not played the game before joining the school.
EVERYONE who donates money will receive entries into a Prize Draw. The more money you donate, the more entries you will receive in the Draw. Tickets will be drawn at school on Friday 30th November. PRIZES INCLUDE: a pair of tickets to the Premiership final and a pair of tickets to a Premiership match of your choice (conditions apply). The top 20 largest donations will each receive a Tiffin Rugby scarf, as well as tickets in the Prize Draw.
