We are seeking funding to build a new spectator shelter at Stafford Rangers Football Club.  Known affectionately by the fans as the Shed End.  The Shed End is our Kop.  Currently, the club has no covered areas behind either goal.

Stafford Rangers FC is a semi-professional football club that currently plays in the Evo-Stik Premier Division following our championship winning season last year.

Stafford Rangers has been in existence since 1876 and the fans, as well as the club, are working in unison to improve spectator facilities at Stafford Rangers for the benefit of the whole community.

The new Shed End extends by 72m in length by 9m in depth.  This is broadly the width of the football pitch.  The shelter benefits from detailed planning permission and Building Control Approval will be submitted imminently.

The money that you generously give will be used to pay for the new Shed End and will be gratefully received.  All of the money to date has been raised by the fans has helped us to secure planning permission.  Through the generous donations we have raised £10,000, however, we now need another  £80,000 in order to build it.

Stafford Rangers has an average home attendance of over 600 fans and we currently the 2nd best supported club in the division.  Our highest attendance this season for a home game was over 1800 fans against our local rivals Hednesford Town FC.

In addition to 1st team games, the ground also hosts reserve team and academy sides; senior and youth team football tournaments and charity matches to support local worthwhile causes.  As such, the improvements to the ground will not only benefit Stafford Rangers fans and away supporters, it will also benefit the wider community that regularly use the ground.

I trust the above provides a brief overview of why we would be extremely grateful for any money that you can give.
