I own a therapy dog called Amber who comes with me into various schools across Nottingham City and County. Together we meet with children who are experiencing difficulties in their lives.
Amber has made a tremendous difference to numerous children ranging from those being bullied, exeriencing anxiety related issues, neglectful home lives and children with special educational needs.
Amber is experiencing mobility problems which the vet believes is related to her spine . The vet believes it is treatable but she needs an MRI scan to diagnose the issue. My pet insurance want me to pay 35% excess on all vets bills which will come to thousands of pounds. I am hoping to raise some money towards Ambers treatment so she can continue her amazing work with the children who love her greatly.
In the eventuality we don't reach the target, the money will still be put towards Ambers vets bills. If there is surplus money the money will be donated to the PDSA.
