15,000KM, 19 COUNTRIES AND 1 VEHICLE.
The Mongolia Charity Rally is an epic 10,000 mile pan-continental road trip for charity, leaving on the 11th of July 2015, crossing miles of open countryside, mountain ranges, and deserts - not to mention more barren and inhospitable lands than you’d care to shake a gear stick at! The journey officially starts in London with its final destination in the ancient Mongol capital of Ulaanbaatar, however we hope to begin from John O'Groats in the far north of Scotland, all in an effort to support Go Help’s flagship ambulance service in Mongolia.
As a team we plan to raise as much money for Go Help as we can, before donating the vehicle as a remote-area ambulance when we finally arrive at the capital. With our Crowdfunder page we hope to raise the money we need to get us, and the vehicle all the way across two continents and through 19 countries.
Please check our website and Facebook/Twitter pages for all the details, updates and news...
Where are we going?
Travelling through 19 countries on 2 continents. Covering up to 10,000 miles through some of the best cities the world has to offer and across some seriously inhospitable terrain that you hope to never breakdown in. This is the first step of the next big adventure!
“Go Help is a UK adventure charity that is committed to working with local communities in Central Asia and Central America to improve their access to education and healthcare services. It is run by volunteers, and begun as an effort to launch and operate ambulance services in third world countries. The cause is now much broader and we endeavour to help local organisations in any way we can. Go Help's fundraising platform is called Charity Rallies, which runs the Mongolia Charity Rally, the Roof of the World Charity Rally, and the MesoAmerica Charity Rally.
Our charitable activities are largely in the fields of Healthcare and Education.”

How will your money be used?
First and foremost this is an event for charity - and we hope to donate every penny we can. What makes this event so great is that we drive all that way to hand over the keys to our vehicle. It will then be used as a remote-area ambulance, saving lives and addressing the drastic shortfall in emergency vehicles in the region.
Driving over 15,000km comes with its own problems - fuel and spare parts are a massive factor, but without well rested team members no one is going to make it. The money we raise will help us with campsite fee's, visa costs and any unforeseen expenses en route...
