Born and bred in North Edinburgh, The Indos are an alternative rock band who take influence from the mod, pop and heavier rock that emerged from British rock bands of the 1960's. Mixing a blend of heavy guitar driven tracks with more melodic songs the Indos have created a unique sound.
The Indos first release was an E.P entitled 50 Shades of Blue which was fiananced by an independant record label Twin City Records. The four track E.P recieved a great reception north of the border. One of the tracks from the E.P (falling in and out of space) was rewarded Jim Gellatly's (from XFM radio) track of the week. The band were also BBC radio 4 star Lach's Antihoot'superhoot finale'winners 2014.
Almost 2 years have gone by since the Indos E.P release and after a lot of hard work writing original songs the band are now ready to record their first studio album.
After years of playing around Scotland from tents in front of 1,500 people to queit bars in small towns in front of 2 old men the Indos have experienced it all. The time has now come to spread their wings further afield and get their name known down south and hopefully Europe. Once the album has been perfected the plan is to tour the UK promoting the album and expanding our already well established name.
The funding method for this project is keep what you raise and if we raise our target we hope to begin before the end of the year.
