About your project/organisation
This project is to create a platform where one type of member (start-ups and SMEs) can access help and advice from other type of members (Mentors and industry specific coaches/experienced individuals) of the site. We aim to build a community of like-minded people to help each other build a business. Members will have their problems published on the platforms discussion board where ALL members are free to add to the discussion to help solve the problem.
On top of the community the platform will build, there will be events and seminars scheduled throughout the year where all members can attend and network with each other to give a physical aspect to the community. Seminars will include selected speakers to help benefit the attendees in their business.
We are strong believers in having a mentor and coach to help grow business like many other successful people in the world has benefited by these individuals themselves. We have set this up to help start-ups and SMEs, gain this support, but by having the platform, they are not limited to having the expertise of only one expert but as many as the platform can provide in members.
Why are you crowdfunding?
We are crowdfunding due to quick turnaround of raising finance, but most importantly, we would love to be able to involve ALL the investors in being part of the business/platform as well as the specified rewards to investing.
The money will be used for:• Development of the platform• Marketing the platform to potential members• Gaining office space for meetings with clients and to have a place to build the team
Rewards
If you pledge £10, you will be personally thanked by the CEO.
If you pledge £50, you will be personally thanked with a Drink with the CEO, as will be mentioned on the partners/sponsors page of the platform for 1 year.
If you pledge £100, you will get free tickets to upcoming events for 1 year.
If you pledge £300, you will be given free tickets to events for 1 year and 1 year free membership to the platform when we are up and running and you will also be one of the first to know of any development in the business, as well as a meal with the founder to discuss and hear more about the plans for the business.
If you pledge £1000, for the 2 people that invests £1000, you will also have a meal with the founder and hear more about the company. You will also have unlimited free membership to the platform and be part of the decision making team.
All rewards will be given as soon as the platform is up and running, but clearer information about the rewards will be given to the investors once they have pledged.
A bit about you
Whilst being in business for several years now, as an owner and co-founder, I have had to fork out quite a bit of money investing in education and gaining help from individuals. As a strong believer in having a mentor/coach to excel in business, I decided to help the other start-ups and SMEs, by setting this platform up so they have access to the experts (Mentors/Coaches/Experienced Individuals), for a fraction of the fees that is required on a one-to-one basis, but with the flexibility to have these one-to-ones if they feel necessary.
