Hi all, my name is Chris and I am currently trying to work my way up through the ranks of racing Sports bikes, I have been riding for a few years and do as many track days as I can constantly trying to be faster.
The project is to get me racing next year in the No Limits Racing Series 1000cc class, as you can see from my picture I have already purchased the bike I will be using but with only an exhaust and some cheap rear sets its a million miles away from becoming the race bike it needs to be.
The bike is a 2011 Honda CBR1000RR Fireblade.
I will be putting every penny of my own money in on top of what I am trying to raise in order to make this happen, I am currently working full time as well as anything I can do on my day off in order to raise more money, my fantastic wife is even working her days off to help me out financially.
The money once raised will be spent on the following:
Race fairing, lightweight wheels, adjustable levers, balance free forks, replacement rear suspension, new rear sets, new brake disks, calipers and pads, countless sets of tyres, clip ons, engine work including a fuel managment system and mapping, a second quieter exhaust for certain tracks, engine covers/protection.....this list goes on. On top of that i have entry fees, fuel, a transport, a mechanic for 3 days every race.
I understand this is not for the benefit of mankind or a charity. This is for me to enter the series and see how it goes, you never know where you may end up with the right start and by taking a few chances.
I massively appreciate any and every donation big or small and if all goes well maybe you'll see more of me in the future.
Lastly if anyone has any parts, equipment, racing gear that might help and would be so kind as to donate that it would be absolutely fantastic!
Thank you for taking the time to read my project.
