I have come up with a new way to recruit and employ leading us into the next way that employers can recruit on a national and international basis, so they are not missing out on that star employee.
The way of doing this is by video recruitment.
How do it work?
The employer will make a short video and give a brief description of the position that's being advertised, then they will also have a sort of job description video (if the position already exists) to show the potential new recruit what he/she would be doing on a day-to-day basis but withing a short video, edited to suit both parties.
Example: Virgin Group is looking for a new Business Development Manager, then The group Director could release a video as mentioned above detailing what is required, what the salary points are and maybe a clip of the team he/she would be working with.
The Candidate would obviously come across the position through the relevant search procedure on our site, then submit a video CV/Resume back to the advertiser.
