We are a small local business producing artisan flavoured salts and dry rubs. We aim to be the next big name in the condiment industry!
The Larder Boys was established by Rudi Vidamour and Gary Milligan in Belfast in early 2017. As two friends we shared a joint love of all things food related and in particular BBQ. Days where sometimes spent in preparation for a big weekend BBQ and we loved nothing more than experimenting and perfecting the right blends of spices and flavours to compliment whatever we were cooking. There was never an unhappy guest, and the compliments where always plentiful, so we decided "why not take this to the next level?".
We started with Flavoured Salts, we created 7 flavours, all very different and started to sell them through Facebook. We had a great response and sold many more units than expected so decided to start a website. With the website up and running (www.thelarderboys.com) we had another platform to which the public could access our products through, and once again, the response was fanatastic.
From there we then decided to approach some local businesses to see if they would be interested in stocking our products. As of today our products are now being distributed by some of Belfast's best Butchers as well as Sawyers Ltd, a prestigious delicatessen operating in the City Centre. The revenue from this growth has let us develop 4 Dry Rubs which was our 2nd stage in our business plan, and they wil released for sale onto the market as of mid June 2017.
Our next step is to generate £10000 so that we can begin stage 3 of our business plan and develop a Larder Boys Sauce Range as well as begin a marketing campaign to drive our product out across the UK. We will also need to purchase the equipment necessary to produce such a product on a mass scale and to also help us secure a premises so that we have the tools to keep expanding at a healthy rate.
As our slogan says we always aim to create "Something Different" and want to always provide and exciting, interesting product for our customers. We really believe in our brand and our products, and we believe that we really do have what it takes to be the next big name in the Condiment Industry.
