The Fairy Preservation Society creates magical outdoor workshops and events, which inspire and encourage a long term relationship and respect of the natural world and all its magical inhabitants.
Our first project will be based at wowo campsite in West Sussex, an area of outstanding beauty managed by a family dedicated to keeping it accessible to the public. They have kindly given us permission to create an interactive fairy trail which is magical and fun to explore, whilst teaching all about its natural flora and fauna... And fairies, of course!
This initial funding is vital to the project and will be used for essential materials, marketing, insurance and hopefully a 'travelling' craft space, such as a bell tent in which the children can participate in crafts and learning.
We intend to develop the project so that we can bring our workshops to many more people and create fairy trails across the country. This would be an absolute dream come true and I am certain that the children who attend our workshops will become future guardians of the earth and protect sacred spaces which are vital for the well being of all future generations.
"Let us tread carefully off the path, into the woods and fields of green, to explore the natural gifts around and be inspired to preserve it and keep it clean!"
I do hope you will find our project worthy of your support and so look forwards to hearing your comments, feedback and ideas of support or collaboration.
