The Dunkirk Project - Crisis Aid for Refugee Camp

The Dunkirk Project provides labour and donations in the face of adversity on the refugee camp in Dunkirk through valued volunteers.

The Dunkirk Project is  an awareness raising campaign of the Calais Jungles forgotten sister. Founded by 2 camp volunteers, Paddie Marlow-Barnes and Sian Pilkington with the objective to focus attention on the issues arising in the camp, and reach out to those who can help the refugees and us to continue with our work on camp.

We want to promote the idea of mutual responsibility within humanity, and teach that we are all the same and all share this planet as our home. We believe that responsibility within a humanitarian crisis should show no borders, and hope to pave the way for agents of change for now and in the future.

We will be living in Dunkirk completely un-supported with the vision of making a difference for the refugees are trying their best in the face of desperation.

The funds will be put towards the following:

  • Provision of Donations: Wood, Food, Tents, Tarpaulin, Gas, Warm Clothes, Generators.
  • Marketing our cause
  • Accomodation for us and volunteers
  • Fuel for acces to the camp

We intend that our project is able to reach out to people from all backgrounds, and enable everyone and anyone to become an agent of change.  We invision that the project shall grow and become flexible to deal with crisis now and in the future.
