Keep going Comrades, if only we could get the same commitment to a Socialist future !! Ian XX
My dad was trained as an RAF Bomber Command Navigator during WW2. He never saw action (the war ended before he started active service). As a kid growing up in the 1960s and 1970s there were always trips to airshows and aviation museums for my two brothers and I. Moving forward 40 years and now I live in North Norfolk with my own family and my fascination of all things from that era continues. I have been watching with interest the Control Tower B&B project and now thrilled to be able to contribute to this project. Keep up the great work guys
Keep going guys! Fingers crossed you smash your target :) x
One less trip to Craswell; one more trip to Norfolk :-)
I am supporting this project on behalf of my wife Kathleen Howes. Sadly, following a heart attack in December 2011, she survived but has been left in a completely vegetative state and is currently in a nursing home, requiring 24 hour care. She never knew her father who was an RAF flying instructor on the Stirling bomber towards the end of WW2. Kathleen was born on February 19th 1945 and her father, John Howes was killed on a training run in a flying accident over Lincolnshire on March 29th 1945 when Kathleen was six weeks old. I know that Kathleen would have been very keen to support this project and on her behalf I wish it every success. Rodger Garratt.
Looking forward to actually getting to see the project instead of sending hangers! Soooooo close now. Peter & Alison
Looking forward to hearing all about the refurb...you are doing a great job - hat's off in admiration to you both. Can't wait to be up there in April! Jude and Stephen
Dear Claire and Nigel, Well done on all your efforts so far. We know what it is like doing up a run-down place with lots of potential! The rooms you have done already, shown on your website, look lovely. Good luck with raising the remainder and progressing with the work. We look forward to seeing it with our own eyes. Best wishes Linda and Stephen Orchard
Woo hoo! I've made a small contribution. Good luck with finding the rest. Fingers crossed!
Hi Claire & Nigel Just to let you know that we have pledged £250 towards your Annex Project. We hope it continues to do well and this means we can stay there more. Graeme & Judy x
This is such an important project. It preserves an important part of our history, and it is damn good fun. I do hope the project goes ahead
