To raise money for our Burning Man camp I am holding a raffle; where the winner will get their design tattooed on my back.
About the project
We are aiming to raise money to buy materials and transport them to America for our Burning Man Camp. The Camp is called Naughty Bench and aims to recreate that feeling of a British Pub Garden in summer. Three metre tall picnic benches and an enormous spraystation in the style of a giant Foster's ashtray. There will be other features to the camp centred around this theme, such as a human fruit machine and croquet. We hope to raise £10k for our project.
This enterprise is just part of our fundraising activities and I am hoping to raise £500 (in addition to the £100 of entries already received) to make it viable. As a contributor of £20 you will be entered into a raffle to have a design of your choice tattooed on my back. The design can be the size of a 20 pack of cigarettes (not Superkings). All designs, no matter how awful, cringey or weird are welcome as long as they are not racist/homophobic etc or could feasibly incite a total stranger to violence.
As long as I reach my target of 30 entries I will draw a winner and get this done. If I receive 100 entries I will get 2 done and if I get 300 entries I will get 3. All paid entrants will be invited to the draw. I am not sure whether you will be able to send designs through crowdfunder, so if not send them to firstname.lastname@example.org. They can be a photo, MS Paint or just a description. If I don't reach 30 entries all payments will be returned.
Here's the space - get creative. As you can see I'm not covered in tattoos, so that your design will get lost, nor am i setting this up to run some kind of scam where I get a larger tattoo over the top. Your design will be there for life and the winner is welcome to message me throughout my life to request a photo of the tattoo next to a newspaper of that day as proof. If I am unable to complete this I will refund to them all funds raised from this venture. The point I am trying to make is, I am not joking, this will be on my back for ever.
