I am pursuing a small claims action against Trump International Golf Links at Menie (Aberdeenshire) for breach of privacy. This is to be heard at the beginning of April in Edinburgh. I was secretly followed and filmed by male employees at the golf development as a friend and I walked on the beach and in the dunes. This included me taking a "comfort break". Later this was described as a "Presidential Leak" by the journalist, Rob Edwards in a article he wrote about the incident for the Sunday Herald. NB despite claims by the Trump Organisation that this was a deliberate act within a few feet of the clubhouse in full view of staff and guests, I was over 750m from said clubhouse, no-one was visible to me and it most certainly was not a deliberate act. I have had many offers of financial support for my legal action from across Scotland and around the World, but as my solicitor, Mike Dailly, Solicitor Advocate and Principal Solicitor Govan Law Centre, is giving his time for free my costs are minor. As such I felt that I would like to support the work of the Govan Law Centre which is a charity that offers free legal advice on a wide range of issues including homelessness, repossessions, tribunal work and money advice work with families. The bulk of the money raised will go to the GLC.

I would also like to make two small donations firstly to Toilet Twinning, a charity that helps build toilets in areas that have none. 2.4 billion people across the world currently have no access to a proper toilet.

Secondly to the campaign group Tripping up Trump which supports the local residents at Menie, publicises any ongoing planning issues and generally keeps an eye on what is happening at Menie.

If I lose my action I will keep back £300 to pay for the Small Claim Court costs
In addition to the stated rewards there will be some lucky dip rewards (drawn at random after the crowdfunding is completed). These will include Menie memorabilia and a few toilet twinning certificates dependent on how much is raised for that cause.
Please note that apart from David Milne's photo donated by him for postcard 5, all the photographs and designs for the rewards are taken by me. I am an amateur photographer. David is a local Menie resident whose home Trump is on record as saying he wants demolished.
Two of the images used in the postcards Copyright Rohan Beyts.
