We are raising money for our student production of 12, a modern version of Shakespeare's Twelfth Night exploring gender and sexuality in the modern world. We are performing a preview at the Birmingham Guild of Students on June 12th before our 2 week run at the Edinburgh Fringe Festival on 14th-26th August at The Space @ Niddry Street at 21.10 each evening.
We are fundraising to make the best show possible so as to showcase our cast and try and make LGBTQ portrayals a more mainstream aspect of theatre. The show is being put on through 3BUGS Fringe Theatre Society and the University of Birmingham UoB LGBTQ Association and any support would be great!
Using drag to explore Shakespeare’s Twelfth Night, 3BUGS and UoB LGBTQ present a night not to forget – get your stockings ready! Ladies, gentlemen and everyone in-between – welcome to 12! A reimagining of a classic ready for the 21st century, 12 is the perfect mixture of drag, dulcet tunes and a lot of daring fun.
