Swindion Restore is a local charity based in Swindon that has been in existence since 2011.   It has two aims

1) to support and help the long term unemployed and those unable to access full time work due to ill health SEN etc

2) to build community in the Parks area of Swindon

We run a charity shop, community cafe and workshop and we use our volunteers to staff these three projects and teach them basic work skills.   We have an old Luton Transit van that is fast approaching the end of its life.  We need to replace it with a new or newer one.  The van is vital to Restore as it collects donations of furniture, clothing, toys, books, DVDs/CDs etc and delivers goods bought in our charity shop.   Without the van we would be unable to operate and therefore support our volunteers.

Last year we helped 12 people back into work and provided over 12,000 volunteer hours of work experience.  We are well thought of within Swindon and pride ourselves on the service that we give.

We cover every street in Swindon and so there is the potential for any backers to have their name freely advertised throughout the whole town.

We are a sister charity to Swindon Foodbank and are a part of Swindon Christian Community Projects (SCCP)
