Project aim

The aim is to assist 3 Sussex riders with financial help to enable them to afford to race at the famous Brands Hatch GP circuit.

About the project

Sussex Racers has been set up to assist riders with financial help to afford to continue racing in the British MotorCycle Racing Club (BMCRC or Bemsee) championships.

All 3 riders currently involved in Sussex Racers have achieved podium places so far in this their Rookie season and have invested/exhausted their own funds to do so. We have invested every penny we have into our racing, it's a very expensive addiction. We are gradually gaining trophies, everyone of us so far has won at least one trophy this season. We need YOUR help to continue this success!

if we can get Sussex Racers off the ground we can then start to help other racers who are in a similar position. Help a poor rider today and pledge your support.

The riders are -

Jim Davies (Race no. 72) - Thunderbike Extreme Rookie (also Rookie 1000's). Riding a 1998 Yamaha R1.

Jim is dad to Wade (who is nearly 3). Wade would like to be his dad's mechanic but a little further training is required!

He doesn't drink (apart from Christmas and birthdays) and doesn't smoke (apart from tyres).

Tim Cornwall (Race no. 35) - Rookie 1000's. Riding a 2006 Suzuki GSXR 1000.

Tim is Uckfield bred. When not racing likes to be dragged around the woods with his good lady Becky by their lovely Rottie dog.

Steve Cornwall (Race no. 33) - Rookie 600's. Riding a Triumph Daytona 675.

Steve is Tim's brother and recently married to the lovely Abbie. When not racing Steve (now he's married) will now be doing what he's told.

As Sussex Racers progresses we hope to be able to assist other Sussex Racers with their racing.

We are looking for sponsors. Dependant upon the backing we receive we will be happy to mention sponsors in the programmes, on our social media pages, in press releases and any relevant media. We also intend to use some of the money to develop the Sussex Racers brand including T-Shirts & Hoodies. Anyone pledging £50 or over (once our target is met) will receive a free Sussex Racers T-Shirt. If Pledging over £100 we will be happy to carry a medium size sticker on the bike so it can be seen on track and in any media photos.

if you would like more information you can visit the Sussex Racers Facebook page or contact Jim Davies directly on 07594955098
