Backers are a vital part of Crowdfunder

Crowdfunding wouldn't exist without you, the crowd, so we want to make pledging on your favourite projects as simple, quick and easy as possible. You can pledge on a project via PayPal, GoCardless or Stripe, depending on which options the project owner has chosen - hopefully all of them!

Pledging via PayPal

Pledging via PayPal

PayPal is a secure and convenient online payment service that anyone with a UK bank account can use.

You can pledge via PayPal, or if you don't have a PayPal account you can still pledge using a credit or debit card.

If you pledged on an All or nothing project your PayPal pledge will only be taken if the project you backed is deemed successful by the project close date. It will then be taken from your PayPal or bank account. No monies will be taken from your PayPal or bank account if the project is unsuccessful.

If you pledged on a Keep what you raise project your PayPal pledge will be taken at the project close date. This may be sooner than the project's close date if the project owner chooses to collect the funds early.

If you pledged on an Instant payment project your PayPal pledge will be taken immediately.

If you pledged on a Forever funding project your PayPal pledge will be taken within 7 business days.
