New stretch target
An extra £500 will give us sufficient funds to purchase a printer and paper supplies and continue our work towards gaining Council seats subsequent to the General Election.
We aim to raise £1000 to fund our development in the Westmorland and Lonsdale Constituency.
About the project
Our local branch is young, but has grown from 20 to 150 members since early 2014. We now aim to raise £1000 before the end of March. This will enable us to purchase materials and flyers and hold events to raise awareness of Green Party policies locally. We intend to stand in both parliamentary and local elections, with Chris Loynes already selected to stand for Westmorland and Lonsdale in May.
Why we need your help.
The Green Party prides itself on raising funds from individuals rather than big corporations and hedge funds. We are rooted in our membership and that makes us a truly democratic party.
£15 would buy 12 posters
£30 would buy 500 flyers
£50 would make a substantial contribution towards a printer
The Green Party is the only party which stands for the common good. Green party policies are for real change, investing in sustainable jobs, public services in public ownership for public benefit, and the creation of more equal communities which make our lives safer and happier.
