Festival Too was born back in 1985 when a group of business people got together to put on a free music event for the community in King's Lynn and West Norfolk. The event was, and continues to be, organised and run entirely by volunteers from the community FOR the community.
Over the past 35 years Festival Too has grown to one of the largest free outdoor festivals in Europe, entertaining hundreds of thousands of people.
With growth and time comes increased costs and now it needs your support.
Festival Too is totally non-profit making. Every single penny raised is put directly back into the festival itself to provide top quality FREE entertainment for the community. The festival now also features a fireworks display on the opening night and a full programme of street entertainment on the three Saturdays of the festival so that families visiting the town can enjoy street entertainment including clown shows, jugglers, puppets and balloon modelling.
During its 35 years, Festival Too has bought acts including Scouting For Girls, The Hoosiers, Blue, The Buzzcocks, The Fratellis, Atomic Kitten, The Pigeon Detectives, Edwin Starr, Hayseed dixie, The Beat, Toyah Willcox, Deacon Blue, Stooshe, The Drifters, The Troggs, The Stranglers, Hugh Cornwall, Bad Manners, Sophie Ellis-Bextor, Lemar, The Human League, Heather Small, The Wanted and so many more to West Norfolk.
Please support Festival Too.
