I will wear makeup applied lovingly by my three year old daughter on the busiest, most public day of my week, which involves 2 x school runs, a day at the office, obligatory work outings and meetings, sitting poolside at my son's swimming lesson and swimming teaching of my own in the evening with adult clients.
The cause: to raise funds for a special and very private ladies night for a group of newly arrived Syrian refugee mothers who deserve some indulgence and beauty treatments, as well as the space to talk 'girl stuff' and reminding ourselves that we all deserve to feel good.
This campaign is also calling for appropriate and professional volunteers to donate their skills in respect of threading, facials and any suggested activities that would make the evening really special for them. Also, any venues that have a very private sumptious space that we could use for this meaningful evening.
