Artist practice development mentoring with artist and tutor. A mentoring session setting out a six month plan, ending with a discussion of what happened over the six months between meeting with our selected artist and tutor/mentor.
The test run of a new studio building culture for artists who have a serious commitment to their practice by searching for viable and productive ways to bring work out of the studio, into the next stage – the stage that leaves it’s memory of production behind and creates new terrain and logic for the art works existence - the work is put outside the front door.
For us to receive mentoring from an inspirational and inventive artist, who’s mentoring approach feeds directly into their own artistic practice. To organise six mentoring sessions that will fuel a rigorous personal investigation for mentees into finding appropriate presentation streams for our own artwork – perhaps the best ones for us don’t yet exist, and need to be invented.
