We have chosen to raise money for StudentMinds, a charity which aim is to support students suffering from mental health problems. The charity also aim to encourage others to look out for their peers that may be affected by them.
In the UK, currently 1 in 4 students suffer from mental illness (YouGov). StudentMinds offers support groups to benefit young people by allowing them to recognise and cope with any sort of distress.
In addition, they target friends and family of mental illness victims by conducting campaigns such as "Look after your mate" and "How to save a life".

We want to increase the number of support groups at university campus' throughout the UK and transform the state of student mental health. We aim to raise money to support StudentMinds and create awareness for the cause.
" Our Vision: is for all students to have the knowledge, confidence and skills to look after their own mental health and to be able to support their friends and peers.
Our Mission: to improve student mental health by supporting students to deliver peer led interventions. By providing students and university staff with the resources to raise mental health literacy we can create a lasting and positive change.
Our Goal: for all universities and health services to recognise positive mental health as a priority for success. We want students to take action to foster an environment where everyone has the confidence to talk and listen to each other, the skills to support one another and the knowledge to look after their own mental health.
