Hi its James and Alice and we have a idea but we need some help from you kind folks to help get things off the ground. Our story started in February 2016 when we went to Germany for a weekend away and had our first experience of street food crepes, we eat our own body weight in crepes. With the new found love of crepes from my holiday, our family brought up a crepe machine for one of our birthdays. After quite a few failed attempts and a messy kitchen we got quite good at making crepes and started using it as our party trick at family do's and parties. Then the light bulb moment happened and we though actually we are quite good at this and could do it for a living, well that was the aim. So with a up and coming village carnival we went for it. We had a few weeks to get ready for it, so we borrowed a machine off my nan and grandad, a gazebo off my mom and dad and brought a banner off the internet and went for it. It was now D-Day, we had already spent 3 hours the night before preping our batter. We got up early and set up at the show. The nerves were starting to kick in, we were going to be serving to the public. It was a quite morning but we then had our first paying customers, after a first full start we managed to serve our first customer (i still remember how proud we were) The day slowed picked up and we were busy all day with sometimes 10 people in my queue. The day ended and was very successful with us selling over 150 crepes. Now we know the idea works we need a bit of help, we begged, borrowed what we could to get us set up but we are planning to do as many shows/events as we can next year. We are looking to raise funds to we can get things which are fit for commercial use to allow us to build a real business opportunity for us, with a long-term aim of employing local people and proving tasty crepes to the world. Thanks for reading our story and i hope you guys can get behind us to start us on our tasty journey .
