A Charity set up by a young person aged 15 to educate young people on the impact of bullying and give support to those being bullied. Stay Strong will educate young people at School and College through assemblies or focused groups of the impact of bullying, change the mindsets of the bullies and give hope and support for positive outcomes for those being bullied. Further to this, a mentor/buddy scheme will be launched in Schools and Colleges as a route to support and finally, a website is to be designed to provide advice and guidance and a chat forum.

My name is Amy, I am 15 years old and suffered bullying for 18 months before transfering to a new School aged 13.  All I ever wanted to do was to make people smile - sadly others did not like this and what I experienced, no other person should have to suffer.

I want to change current statistics for those affected by bullying and wish to set up an organisation to educate young people on the impact of bullying and give support to those being bullied.

Stay Strong :) will raise an awareness of bullying, educate young people through assemblies or focused groups of the impact of bullying, change the mindsets of the bullies and give hope and support for positive outcomes for those being bullied.

  • I plan to create an awareness campaign through media, social networks and events.
  • I wish to create a website that will share stories and show that together we can create happy endings, guide young people on how and where to get support, display a gallery of all those who are against bullying, wearing the 'Stay Strong :)' wrist band, with testimonials and quotes that will empower those suffering and share my journey through my blog.
  • I wish to provide Workshops that will support young people to 'Stand in their Power'.
  • I am looking to fund the creation of a video that will send out the message that together, we can put a stop to bullying.

 Look who's supporting my campaign:
