Project aim

PGA Golf Professionals Tony Johnstone & Gavin Forsyth are looking to raise half of the £10,000 required to build an indoor Golf Swing Studio.

About the project

Staining Lodge Golf Course is a picturesque 18 hole golf course set in what feels like the heart of rural Lancashire yet just 10 minutes from Blackpool and the M55 motorway.

My name is Tony Johnstone and I am a self employed PGA Golf Teaching Professional at Staining Lodge Golf Academy along with PGA Golf Teaching Professional Gavin Forsyth. Currently we teach on a 250 yard grass practice area and Chipping/Putting Green.  There is no undercover facility so we rely heavily on the British weather to run our business.

We have a Junior Academy of over 50 golfers who eagerly take part in our Bitesize Group Lessons and Competitions. Sadly these numbers dwindle during the cold and wet winter months and many end up giving up.

If we had an Indoor Golf Swing Studio we would never have to cancel a golf lesson again! We would retain our junior members and be able to offer additional services such as custom fitting and equipment sales.  Myself and Gavin see this as a necessary investment not only to offer a much better service to our customers but crucially, to keep our business alive.

With your help our dream can come true.  Please take a few minutes to watch the video and pledge what you can.

A BIG thank you from Tony & Gavin.
