We did it
On 3rd November 2012 we successfully raised £1,167 with 27 supporters in 30 days

St. Cecilia & the Abbey debut album by Wayne Robert Davies So here goes.. I am attempting to record my first album whilst here in Glastonbury this October. I am asking you to help by pledging as little or as MUCH as you can to fund this project.. I'm using local studio's and local artists to record the album. I want to be able to pay session fee's as well as offer writing credits to the musicians who work with me to produce this record. I've written many songs, some for bands that i've been in, some that have never left the page and others that i'd perform for a while, but, eventually drop. However, the songs for this album are the ones that stick, the ones that take time to write. They pull you along with them, gradually revealing themselves like oil on a canvas. You think your finished and then, one day you realise, that, there needs to be a bridge in here or another verse in there. These are the songs of a life and these are the songs i'm now ready to record. I have been in and around the town of Glastonbury for 6 years now. It is a fantastic melting pot of music and I have many talented friends and musicians to help me with this project. I'm offering a flat fee for rehearsals and for recording, and a writing credit on the album. Help me produce a top shelf record by pledging your support. Funding will go towards rehearsals, the studio and engineer as well as the musicians. Any remaining funds will go towards the production of the physical CD. I have artwork idea's already and will be happy to provide limited edition prints for sponsors. Should you pledge to this project you'll be as much a part of making this happen as the artists, musicians and myself and I want you to have as much access as possible.
