On the 28th November the Central St Leonards Town Team is planning the biggest and best Winter Festival that the town has seen in a long time.
This year will we hope to make the Frost Fair the talk of the town with a 50 stall market, a frost parade with the participation of local children; musical acts in the performance area close to St Leonards Warrior Square station - we have the lovely folks of 1066 Target Sports coming down for a bit of Viking style axe throwing. And, at 5pm the official switch on of the Frost Fair lights.
Needless to say none of this is cheap, although we won a bid for the cost of the lights all the infrastructure costs fall to the townspeople so we are asking anyone who cares about St Lens to chip in a few quid towards the cost of all of this. £1 £2 £3 whatever you can afford, just the price of a coffee could help change the face of the high street and give everyone a frost fair to remember.
The Town Team.
