The aim of our project is to celebrate Satguru Sri Ramana Devi 40th Birthday by holding a Mela (gathering) at Kala Sangam a leading collaborative arts organisationin Bradford , raise awareness of Oneness of all of humanity and educate people about Hinduism with a variety of south Indian cultural music and dance.As with all our Mela on of our guest will win a ticket to India and get to experience India first hand.


Ever now and again a public figure comes along who brings hope, joy and great transformation to our lives and the world .Satguru Sri Ramana Devi is one such person .Born in 1974 in Ashton Under Lyne in Tameside Greater Manchester.

Ramana had a profound experience at the age of five and realised her true nature and experienced "ONENESS" with the divine.What Ramana didnt understand at the time was she had Self Realised.Her Realisation would become apparent later in life after an unexpected visit to India in her twenties .

Ramana at the age of five began to show signs of great courage,honesty,love,desire to help people, an out pouring of inner wisdom and truth .Ramana has been helping people ever since .Ramana has helped so many people in her life and is always ready to serve humanity .Her presence is amazing and automatically brings about a stillnes inside, the mind become clear and one heart begins to open .Many people have said that if jesus was alive today that his presence would be like Satguru Sri Ramana Devi .

Satguru Sri Ramana Devi teaches about "Oneness" .Satguru Sri Ramana also teaches about Hindu philosophy especially about Yoga.

Bhakti Yoga the path of devotion,..............................being devoted to God

Karma Yoga the path of selfless action....................... Serving God

Jnani yoga the path of knowledge ................ gaining an intellectual understanding of God

Satguru Sri Ramana Devi Mela will be held at Alexander Social Club in Ashton Under Lyne .It will be a night of celebration and entertainment in the presence of a great soul  .We are keen to share our philosophy that their their are many roads to the same destination regardless of your religious ,spiritual or secular beliefs oneness with the wider community

We aim to celebrate Satguru Sri Ramana Devi's 40th birthday milestone with lots of cultural spiritual entertainment We also hope to explore the significance of Lord Shiva thru song and dance .This is just a small token of our gratitude to a great soul.

We will have lots of acts planned for this event followed by a vegan meal and one of our lucky guests will win a ticket to south `india flying with emirates airline.
