Woodstock Gymnastics Club has been running for nearly 25 years and has grown into a thriving club with over 450 children.  We started out as a small recreational club but in the last three years developed a competitive squad which is now producing Regional and National gymnasts.

We are based at a local seconadary school which means that the hours available to us for training are very imited. Over the years we have done various fundraisers to buy new apparatus and upgraded lots of the old school equipment. However, many of our gymnasts are now at the stage where it is not possible or safe to perform the harder skills on the old blue school floor mats and now need a proper sprung floor area. Being a 'pack away' gym we are unable to have the traditional sprung floor area as this has to be left out, however we have found an inflatable alternative which can easily be put in and out.

This would be a state of the art 12mx 12m sprung floor area which would give our gymnasts the scope to progress much further and train on an equal standard to many of the other clubs that have purpose built gyms. Our ultimate dream would be to have our own purpose bulit gymnasium and our inflatable floor would easily be transfered there.

Sport is so important for children and young people and if we can give the opportunities and facilities for them to stick at it and succeed then we can produce healthy and well rounded young people as they enter into society. Our GB Olympic Gymnastics team are doing incredibly well right now and what better role models for our young gymnasts.

With your help hopefully we can buy our new floor area to keep our club progressing... and maybe one day one of ours will make Team GB!!
