Spring Awakening The Musical

A new and exciting staging of the award winning musical 'Spring Awakening' coming to london this October.

Who we are

Major Productions was set up by drama school graduate Wesley Bromley with the intention of showcasing other recent drama school graduates to the industry. The company assembled a top creative team of professionals for their debut show, Spring Awakening. However with the sell-out run at The Old Finsbury Town Hall and with audiences calling for a transfer, Major Productions have embarked on just that.

About the project

The company are now in talks with several London venues to mount the production for a further run just off London's West End.

The show features an immersive thrust staging which served to highlight the intimacy and intensity of the venue, and the show itself.

After audience reaction, from both industry and fans of the show, calling out via social media for a cast recording and a transfer, we see a bright future for this new staging and hope that this is something you could potentially be a part of.

The production features direction by Laura Checkley, who was resident director for the German production of Cabaret. Full CV: http://www.curtisbrown.co.uk/client/laura-checkley/cv

Musical Direction by Jo Cichonska, an upcoming talented MD who has worked on numerous fringe productions: http://www.jocichonska.com/

And choreography by Leanne Pinder, who whilst having an extensive career as a performer, her assistant choreographer credits include: Women on the Verge of a Nervous Breakdown (Playhouse); 2014 Commonwealth Games Opening and Closing Ceremonies (Celtic Park, Glasgow); American Psycho (Almeida); Matilda (West End and Broadway) and We Will Rock You (UK tour).

The shows features a cast of recent drama school graduates and were hailed for "not having a single weak link."

We are looking to raise £5,000 to help pay for the creative team, venue, lighting and sound equipment, lighting designer, promotional material and much more.

Here at Major Productions we see a bright future for this show and any help from £5 - £5000 would be greatly appreciated.
