The Day-LIGHT Group are bringing a spectacular series of illuminated events to four stunning locations in Cornwall.
Taking inspiration from Lumiere London and Durham we will be shining a myriad of colour and light on St. Rumon’s Garden Redruth, Gwennap Pit, Carn Marth and holding a grand finale of all the work in St. Day.
The project will engage with a vast range of local people, involve workshops with schools and community groups, bring new digital media art to Cornwall and use over 1000 PLASTIC BOTTLES in the creation of light-up recycled flowers!
Signs and Wonders will take place during the dark winter months of 2017/18 and involve a team of local artists, industry professionals, musicians and historians who will, with the help of surrounding communities, bring you moonlit walks and talks, fabulous animated projections, light sculptures and paintings, interactive digital projections, song, music, dance and illuminated kite flying.

This is the first event of its kind in Cornwall. We will have one ticketed event but everything else will be FREE.
We have been awarded guaranteed funding from Arts Council England on the condition we can raise the final amount privately. We've only £500 left to find and need YOUR help to make this project happen.
