A response to the huge refugee crisis after war in Syria. We will be taking shoeboxes filled with essential items to refugees in Calais.

About the project

A community page in response to the desperate plight of people affected by the war in Syria. Making shoe-boxes filled with essential items that families with children will need after a long and treacherous journey, i.e. plasters, sanitary towels, toothbrushes and toothpaste, small toys for children, nappies, baby wipes, colouring books for children, re-hydration sachets and food. We need boxes made for children, ladies and men.Our first drop off to Calais will be on 5th October and the deadline for shoeboxes and fundraising is the 4th October!Find more information on our facebook page: https://www.facebook.com/shoeboxesforsyria
