Sheffield Half-Marathon (Jessops Hospital)

I am going to run the Sheffield half-marathon and while doing so. I thought it would be good to raise funds for charity.

Hi, I am Philip Foster.

Up until May 2016 I was a smoker, I have so far successfully stopped and plan on continuing to do.

I am training very hard daily to compete in the Sheffield Half-Marathon (I have never done anything like this before). While I am doing this I thought it would be great to get sponserships from the kind people which I am going to give to two charities. One, being the NSPCC and the other is Jessops Wing of the Sheffield hospital. The Jessop Wing opened in 2001 and is a purpose built maternity unit where approximately 7,000 babies are born every year.

I have decided on this as my 3 children was all born here and I would like to give something back.

I have also chosen the NSPCC as children are very important to me and I would be very happy to contribute towards keeping them safe from abuse and I think the NSPCC are a fantastic cause.
