Save The Nightshelter

So pleased that you have reached your target for this year, but saddened that you had been affected by the loss of funding. The Nightshelter is such an important resource for the homeless in Cardiff, we need this service for more than just another year. Having previously worked a few relief shifts at the Nightshelter some years ago, I have had first hand experience of the fantastic work achieved by the dedicated staff who worked at the project. But most of all, meeting and listening to the people who accessed the service spoke volumes of how vitally important the Nightshelter is.

I am so proud to see this fantastic charity reach their target and keep the night shelter open for another year,having worked in A+E i have seen first hand the results of being homeless and how it affects peoples health. Especially seeing the affect it has on their feet whilst sleeping rough on the streets,its important that they have the opportunity to access a service that will greatly improve the condition of their feet. keep up the good work

When I was homeless myself I vowed I would help other homeless folk when I could. Now I can, and I hope so much that your shelter and your work can continue. Very best wishes for 2015 and beyond! Bear
