Whilst attending a conference (Confec Red) in Abu Dhabi we found Abi, a very small kitten, abandoned by her mother. She was nearly dead, but with some water, food and a lot of TLC she responded and recovered. We had to return to the UK so for the past 5 weeks she has been boarded at the Animal Welfare Centre in Abu Dhabi. We have already paid for her board, all her vaccinations, microchips and her pet passport. We would now like to bring her back to the UK and give her a permanent loving home, but the price of flying her back is very high (approx £1000).
Having saved her once we don't want to abandon her again. Fortunately some friends and industry colleagues have offered help and some wish to help fund her return flight. If you can give a small donation it would help bring Abi home and any excess funding above the costs of the flight will be given to the Abu Dhabi Welfare Centre to help with a programme of sterilisation and welfare for stray cats and dogs. Unfortunately adopting stray cats is not currently common in the United Arab Emirates, so it is not really an option to rehome her there.
Abi is very affectionate and loving and just wants a good home and a caring family.
Please help! Many thanks.
