Our school is taking part in Micro Tyco- an entrepreneurial experience for school pupils, in which they are given a month to turn £1 into as much money as possible! Our group is doing a plant-grow-a-thon in which people pay a £1 to guess how much a plant will grow in a month, a film screening at our school of the Jungle Book with a short video from someone who worked on the new edition of the film, a football tournament at school, a bake sale at school, and 'herts for hearts' day in which people pay a £1 to send a heart to someone and the person who receives it can pay a £1 to find out who sent it to them. We will run 'Herts for Hearts' ( Our school is in the county of Hertfordshire) day at our school on November 13th as this is World Kindness day. The money we raise will go to Wildhearts, a charity which implements microfinancing for women in developing countries. Also this challenge will help us as young people gain valuable entrepreneurial skills that we can carry with us throughout life. We would appreciate if you could donate as much as you can to help us cover the costs of our projects and raise as much money as possible for such a great cause. Your donation will help the local community as well as the global community. Thank you!
