We are so excited!  we are creating a safe space in Boscombe for anyone that wants to work and to better themselves.  This employment centre will supply unemployed and disadvantaged people with mentoring support, interview techniques, self-employment guidance, office facilities, free internet and subsistence.

By providing interview skills and practice and other guidance support, we can look at different routes into the labour market to ensure that local people have every opportunity open to them.  We will support with self-employment ideas, working on personal survival budgets and, most imprtantly, their confidence and day-to-day issues.

The Big Lottery are helping with the costs of the renovation to the office, Hays Travel have supplied the office furniture and a photocopier and AFC Bournemouth Cherries Community Fund have paid for our IT equipment ... we are getting there and already have lots of people waiting to come in and get support  in becoming self-employed and with interview techniques and printing off their cv.

What we need now is support with paying for stationery, the contract on the photocopier, volunteer expenses, DBS checks and training, and ... and ... and ...!!  You know how it is ...

Please can you help our project and give a little ... Your donation may be the one thing that helps someone get their job as they have actually had a practice interview, know the questions they may be asked and can actually take a printed cv with them to the interview ....

Thank you x
