Located in the heart of Exeter's buzzing & resurging Quayside, Salt Shed aims to bring a fresh, new take on the city's foodie scene. Serving food in a bold, brash, uncompromising manner, this is not 'fine dining' and certainly not 'boil-in'the-bag.' We will be seeking our ingredients from local suppliers and making everything from scratch, all served with that 'Salt Shed Twist.'
We are three local people who need YOUR help to get our dream off the ground.
We are Gemma, Simon and Matt and we have worked our ways round Exeter in various hospitality capacities. You will probably know Gemma and Simon from Forn, an independent Tapas Bar on Mary Arches Street, which has been running for three years now and Matt from 'other' independent venues in Exeter. We were first friends, who over a beer and a packet of hula hoops :-) realised our common vision of what Exeter's foodie scene is missing. And so the journey began...
We are offering you the opportunity to be actively involved in the success of the business by your pledges going towards forward bookings and thus investment in the business. Looking to the crowd to help us acheive our dream, in return offering you the chance to be amongst the first to sample our wares and be the first on our VIP list!.
