Love food? Want to support our great Cotswold Artisan Food and Drink Producers? Then help us to launch our online quality Food Store..... The Ross & Ross Food Store We want to deliver, to you, an online store stocking a wide range of fantastic products from some of the most exciting and unique producers from all over the Cotswolds. Not only will the store feature our own award-winning Ross & Ross Food products - P‰tés, Cutting Terrines & Potted Meats all made by hand using Free-range British meats - We will also sell delicious and local artisan food & drink products from in and around the Cotswolds. Although improving, the current food market remains saturated with mass produced products and dominated by supermarket chains. Small food and drink producers, like us, are struggling to have a competitive online presence which makes our quality, fully traceable, British products readily available to all those interested. We want to give like-minded artisan producers a helping hand to get themselves out there and have the opportunity to showcase their products, which are not available on the high street. Not only will this project support these producers but it will support the local economy and community whilst delivering the customer with a unique food store and experience. In keeping with our ethos, we will also donate some of the proceeds from certain products to help the Wiggly Worm charity -www.thewigglyworm.org.uk - which uses food as a tool to improve health, well-being & self-esteem amongst our vulnerable and disadvantaged. We are looking to raise £10000 to launch this project. This will be used for; the design and upkeep of the web store, promotion and marketing of the site, stock and packaging. In return for your investment we will send you foodie rewards which you can enjoy personally or give as a gift to another food lover. If you plan to send corporate gifts this year for a particular event or Christmas then these rewards will be ideal. The hampers will arrive to you in chilled packaging via a next day delivery courier. These can be redeemed at a time that suits you. About the project owner

Ross & Ross Food is a small Artisan Fine Food business started by Ross Bearman and Ross Whitmill. After working many years in the catering, fine food and hospitality industry we have started up our own business using all of our experience to create great food products and events. It officially started end November 2011 at our kitchen premises in Chipping Norton.

In our first year we have won a National Great Taste Award and our reputation for making high quality products has allowed us make bespoke items for the finest food retailers in the UK such as Harrods, Harvey Nichols and Daylesford Organic.

Ross Bearman graduated with a degree in Retailing and has worked in the food industry for over 16 years, most notably at Malmaison, Peach Pub Company and most recently running one of the country’s premier fine food retailers, Paxton & Whitfield.

Ross Whitmill graduated from catering college and has worked in the food industry for over 19 years all over the world, most notably at Le Petit Blanc for Raymond Blanc and most recently as Head Chef for one of the most innovative and exciting gastro pub companies, the Peach Pub Company.

We met whilst working for Peach Pubs and decided to start our own fine food business. Using the best local produce we could find, our aim was to take on the French at their own game and produce the finest British Rillettes, Potted Meats & Cutting Terrines. Now 18 months in with many foodie markets and events under our belt, and after meeting many like-minded artisan producers, we want to enter the online market.

Both of us have great knowledge and passion for food and the industry as well as incredible enthusiasm for British produce and we hope we can inspire you to join in with this exciting food adventure.
