About the project
Launched in 1998 by food writer and chef Hugh Fearnley-Whittingstall, River Cottage is a pioneer of seasonal, local, organic and wild food. With over 20 books, 12 television series, an award-winning cookery school and 3 Canteens in the South West, we're committed to helping people eat amazing food. They're raising money through the River Cottage Bond to launch more Canteens across the south of England.
