7 years ago Joe (aged 21) sustained significant injuries in a motorcycle accident. He was left in a coma and on life support. his family were told to turn off the support and 'let him go'. Luckily they didn't and Joe fought through, and after working hard through years of physical rehabilitaiton he has made an amazing recovery. Joe was inspired through his rehab to retrain and he set up Breaking Barriers, a buisness aimed at helping people with injuries and disabilities improve their physical abilities. Joe is inspiration in his work helping others and this has just been recognised by a national rehabilitation awards where he has been shortlisted for Young Achiever of the Year. Unfortunately to attend the awards a table booking costs + £2800. As a small developing buisness Joe cannot fund this as all his funds go into helping the clients in his business. We would love to support Joe to attend the awards, to be able to prompte and champion people recovering from injuries and disabilities as Joe has done and as he helps his clients to do. We know this is a big ask, but we know the more we can support and promote our work the more we can help our clients :) We would be grateful for any support - if you could spare £5 or more!
