Redbridge Children's Storytelling Festival

Redbridge Children's Storytelling Festival

The Children's Storytelling Festival aims to involve as many children as possible in exploring the joy & pleasure of the written word

We did it!

On 2nd Aug 2017 we successfully raised £20 with 1 supporter in 56 days

The Festival will run at the Kenneth More Theatre in Ilford throughout the October half term week 23-28 October 2017.  The Festival will be a combination of authors talks, storytelling and improvisation in the fantastic surroundings of the Kenneth More Theatre, Ilford.  The Festival is a registered charity and is being produced independently by Jack Productions in assocation with the KMT.

Our aim is to involve as many Redbridge children and young people as possible in exploring the joy and pleasure of reading and storytelling.  There will be sessions throughout the week covering a whole range of topics and subjects all aimed at encouraging young people to read books and use their imagination to its fullest.  The programme is still being finalised but you will see from our website www.redbridgelitfest.org that our exciting plans are well underway.

Our aim is to keep the cost of each session to a maximum of £3 per participant to ensure as many young people as possible are able to take part.  We cannot do this without support and sponsorship.  We really are appealing to the generosity and spirit of local people and the business community to ensure that the  Redbridge Children's Storytelling Festival is a huge success and continues to go from strength to strength in future years.

We do hope that you feel able to support us in some way.
