This project is using Flexible funding and will receive all pledges made by 3:52pm 1st June 2017

Launched in 2014, the Recovery Street Film Festival is a partnership between four UK charities (Action on Addiction, Blenheim CDP, Phoenix Futures & Turning Point).  Together we support many thousands of people who've been affected by homelessness, drug & alcohol addiction, sexual exploitation and more - helping them reclaim their lives and begin re-creating their futures.

This year we will be providing filmmaking training and support to 50 special people who have all overcome massive challenges, helping them tell their story and maybe even embark on a new career in filmmaking.

We can't wait to bring their finished films to you through our open air cinemas which will be popping up in London and many other major cities throughout September 2017! We need to raise £1000 to help us pay for the costs of hiring the audio visual equipment that will allow thousands of people to enjoy these films around the country as they pass through on their lunchbreak or on their way to the shops. Please dig deep for a great cause.
