Dear friends and supporters...
Two years ago you set me to work as your MP.
I’ve helped thousands of people and campaigned alongside local groups for improved services and resources. I was first to ask the Government what Brexit would do to our rights and our environmental protections. They don’t know. I’ve campaigned for the rights of disabled people and I support the WASPI women in their fight for pension justice.
BETTER FOR SCOTLAND
The Tory Government pushes people into poverty, victimises the most vulnerable and damages the fabric of society. When a working parent has to queue at a foodbank it’s wrong; when a disabled person loses the help they need it’s wrong; and when you can’t get tax credits for your third child but you can get a tax cut on your third million it’s wrong.
STRONGER FOR SCOTLAND
Theresa May knows Jeremy Corbyn can’t beat her now and Labour won’t be able to stand up to her Government after the election. She’s doing what’s best for her party; not Scotland and not the UK. We need strong voices for Scotland and an effective opposition. That’s what the SNP has been doing and it’s what I’ve been doing.
We need a strong team to stand up for Scotland. Give me your trust and your support to carry on with the job. You can help here by donating to my fighting fund so we can lease campaign premises and produce campaign materials to reach everyone in the Edinburgh North and Leith community.
Thank you !
PS If you don't like using Crowdfunder and PayPal to make donations, then please drop a line to: email@example.com and we'll guide you on how to donate via cheque, electronic transfer, or cash.
If you are kind enough to donate more than £50 to my campaign, your name and address will be checked against the electoral register to ensure that you are eligible to donate. Your name, but not your address, will be made available by the council on request after the election.
